The annual progress exchange meeting of the National Key R&D Program "High Power Long Pulse Green Laser Technology" project was held at DoGain

On December 1, the annual progress summary meeting of the national key R&D program "New Display and Strategic Electronic Materials" led by Tsinghua University was held in Dugan Core Optoelectronics Technology (Suzhou) Co., Ltd. The project is led by Tsinghua University, in collaboration with Dogain Optoelectronic Technology (Suzhou) Co., Ltd., Tsinghua University Tianjin High-end Equipment Research Institute, Shanghai Microelectronics Equipment (Group) Co., Ltd., Institute of Microelectronics, Chinese Academy of Sciences, National University of Defense Technology, Beijing Kaplin Optoelectronics Technology Co., Ltd., Han's Laser Technology Industry Group Co., Ltd. and Beijing Huazhuo Jingke Technology Co., Ltd. and other eight domestic advantageous units jointly undertake.
Lei Jinliang, Director of the Materials Department of the High-tech Research and Development Center of the National Natural Science Foundation of China, Lin Zhe, Deputy Director of the Shanghai Institute of Optics and Fine Mechanics, Chinese Academy of Sciences, and specially invited management experts, attended the meeting. The evaluation experts are Academician Chen Lianghui of the Chinese Academy of Engineering, Researcher Fan Zhongwei of the University of Chinese Academy of Sciences, Researcher Zhang Jing of the Aerospace Information Innovation Institute of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, Researcher Liang Xiaoyan of the Shanghai Institute of Optics and Fine Mechanics of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, Researcher Gao Jing of the Suzhou Institute of Biomedical Engineering Technology of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, Professor Xie Guoqiang of Shanghai Jiao Tong University, Professor Tang Jianxin and Professor Yuan Xiao of Soochow University attended the meeting, and more than 20 people from the relevant persons in charge and technical backbone of the project undertaking unit attended the meeting. The meeting was chaired by Professor Liu Qiang, director of the Department of Precision Instruments of Tsinghua University.
Before the meeting, Dr. Zhao Weidong, Chairman of DoGain, delivered a speech on behalf of the organizers of the conference. He said that since its establishment, the company has made a series of achievements with independent intellectual property rights around semiconductor chips and packaging technology. Taking the undertaking of this project as an opportunity, the company organized the backbone force to carry out the technical research of the national high-power side pump module, and made breakthroughs in key indicators such as module consistency and LD efficiency. In the future, the company will continue to increase R&D investment to provide technical support for the engineering of high-power long-pulse green lasers and even the development of the industry. Lei Jinliang, director of the Materials Division of the High-tech Research and Development Center of the National Natural Science Foundation of China, introduced the relevant requirements of special management work at the meeting. Professor Huang Lei of Tsinghua University, the general leader of the project, briefly reported the research background, overall objectives and assessment indicators of the project to the participating experts, focusing on the completion of the annual indicators of the project, important progress and achievements, the implementation of funds, and the organization and implementation management mechanism of the project. The leaders of the four projects reported in detail the progress made this year around the specific research tasks and objectives of each project.
After listening to the reports of each topic, the participating experts fully questioned and discussed the key technologies and project management in the process of project implementation, and gave guiding opinions on the next step.
After the meeting, the members of the project team organized an internal seminar based on the opinions and suggestions of experts, conducted in-depth discussions on the problems existing in the project implementation process, put forward corresponding solutions, clarified the node plan of key assessment indicators, and made detailed arrangements for future work.
